If you're planning Saturday around the Cats, here's the setup. No. 8 Kentucky (7-1, 5-1 SEC) heads to Knoxville to face No. 16 Tennessee (6-2, 3-2) on Sat., Nov. 7, and both teams are coming off a bye week. Columnist Mark Story writes that it's at least the biggest UK-UT game in 76 years.

Tennessee is a 6.5-point favorite, and ESPN gives the Vols a 66.8% chance to win. The Vols haven't lost to Kentucky at home since 2020. Coach Will Stein said Tuesday the bye week came "at the perfect time," and that Tennessee "could easily be 8-0."

Fayette County school transportation workers ask the district to recognize their union

Fayette County Public Schools bus drivers, monitors and mechanics want a union. sent Interim Superintendent Bill Bradford a letter Oct. 22 asking for recognition. It says it has signed cards from a majority of the employees in the proposed unit.
