Lextran launched a one-year Connect pilot using smaller vans and an app to provide $3 rides in northwest Lexington to link homes, bus stops, jobs, and doctors' offices, and officials will assess the yearlong trial to decide on continuation or expansion.
🏛️ Government
Gov. Andy Beshear says the SBA approved a disaster declaration for severe weather from June 17 to June 30, making homeowners, businesses and nonprofits in 19 counties eligible for loans (counties include Fayette, Jessamine, Madison).
Physical damage loan applications are due Dec. 28; economic injury loans are due July 26, 2027.
