About this event

For November, the Boyle County Public Library will be hosting beloved local artist David Farmer for his exhibition “The Language of Color.”

In Farmer’s own words, “My paintings illustrate the use of color as an emotional language to transform the energy and nuances of nature in a way that invites contemplation and interest. It is a process of pursuing a strong impulse to become a deeper part of something—a place, an atmosphere, an event—to embrace in another way.”

David Ray Farmer is an artist-in-residence at the Art Center of the Bluegrass in Danville. After over thirty years as a painter, he has work in hundreds of private and corporate collections. His education includes a BA English, art school, Columbus College of Art and Design, and professional art workshops.

All are invited to the Opening Reception in the Gallery on November 5 at 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The exhibit will be open November 4th through November 28th.
